New Retailer to Enter Danbury Mall
Primark, an Irish clothing retailer, is slated to enter the mall.

Sears announced that it will lease out half of its store at the Danbury Fair Mall to Primark, an Irish clothing retailer, the Danbury News Times reports.
Sears will lease out approximately 70,000 square feet on the upper level of its store to Primark. According to the News Times, officials praised the deal saying it will allow a new retailer to enter the market and also draw traffic to the mall.
The retail store, which has closed over 200 locations in the past year, reported the deal with Primark in October to lease seven locations in the northeast.
