
Danbury Democrats will not have a mayoral candidate at November’s election to challenge incumbent Mark Boughton, the News Times reports.
According to the paper, the decision was made at Monday night’s Democratic convention at City Hall.
Danbury’s Democratic Town Committee chairman Joe Walkovich told the News Times that the none of the many credible candidates he spoke to envisioned taking on a 14-year-incumbent.
