Professor of Nursing Dr. Linda Warren, coordinator of WCSU’s Ed.D. in Nursing program, said, “It’s gratifying that our program has been highly ranked by this nursing website. We’ve worked hard to create a doctoral program that addresses the country’s critical shortage of nurses by preparing nurse-educators to instruct the next generation of care providers. By offering the majority of the coursework online, we’ve made the program accessible so nurses who are currently employed can continue their important work while they simultaneously elevate their careers to become nurse-educators.”
The nurseeducator.com website described WCSU as “a public university … that offers a range of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs, including an Ed.D. in Nursing Education. It is an affordable, accredited university with a commitment to providing high-quality education and engaging student experiences.”
WCSU’s Ed.D. in Nursing program is licensed by the Connecticut Board of Regents and approved by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
