Obituary: Angela Mastrocinque, 51, of New Fairfield

NEW FAIRFIELD, CT — Angela Mastrocinque, 51, of New Fairfield, CT passed away peacefully at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, FL on Friday, October 12, 2018.
Born in the Bronx, NY to Addie Smimmo Bolger of New Fairfield and Stuart, FL and the late Alfred Aufiero. She was a 1985 graduate of St. Catharine Academy in the Bronx, NY. Angela attended St. John University and received her degree from Western CT State University. An elementary school teacher at The Sherman School in Sherman, Angela retired in 2016 due to her illness. She was active in the Ball Pond Beach Association, enjoyed traveling, the beach and was a wonderful cook. She most enjoyed her sons and spending time with her family.

Besides her mother, survivors include her stepfather: Thomas Bolger. Her husband, Abramo Mastrocinque. Her sons: Dominic and Nicholas, both of New Fairfield. Her brother: Daniel Aufiero and his wife, Janine, of North Carolina. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018 at St. Edward Church, New Fairfield. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends from 4pm-8pm on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
