Obituary: Anthony 'Tony' D'Oro, 72 Of Danbury
Tony was a cargo agent for Varig Airlines for over 25 years and then went into the sales industry before his retirement.

DANBURY, CT — Anthony “Tony” D’Oro of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on July 16th, 2022. He was 72 years old.
Anthony was both in Apice to Adele and Attilio D’Oro on June 20th, 1950. He was the second-born child after his older brother Orlando. He married Maria Lombardi on August 31st, 1974 in New York. He graduated from Bronx Community College with an associate's degree. He was a cargo agent for Varig Airlines for over 25 years and then went into the sales industry before his retirement. Anthony loved spending time with his family, vacationing around the world, watching movies and sports, and making people laugh.

Tony will always be remembered for being loving, funny, sweet, and always smiling around his family and anyone he ever met. He is survived by his wife Maria, children- Jason and Amanda, and grandchildren- Isabella and Giuliana. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
A Funeral Mass will take place on July 22nd at 10:30 am at St. Peter’s Church in Danbury. The church is located at 104 Main Street, Danbury, CT.
