Obituary: Antonio Fratto, 73, Of Danbury
Antonio came to America in May 1970 to help build a better life for his parents and brothers.

DANBURY, CT — Antonio Fratto, 73, of Danbury, passed away on Friday, Aug. 11, 2023 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Maria (Badame) Fratto.
Antonio was born in Catanzaro, Italy, a son of late Carmine Fratto and Tommasina (Sanzi) Fratto. He grew up in Calabria picking vegetables with his father Carmine, Uncle Giuseppe and cousins.
Antonio came to America in May 1970 to help build a better life for his parents and brothers. He worked with his Uncle Francesco doing welding. He soon after opened his own business in Yonkers, and then Ardsley.

He was predeceased by his parents, Carmine and Tommasina.
In addition to his wife, Maria, of 45 years, he is survived by his children: Carmine (Lesley) and Antonella (Richard). His 4 grandchildren: Alex, Lily, Shane, and Dylan. He is also survived by his brothers Franco, and Joseph (Carmela).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023 at St Peter Church, Danbury. Burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
Friends will be received from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St. Danbury.
