Obituary: Barbara Boyle Hoffmann, 85, of Danbury

DANBURY, CT -- Barbara Boyle Hoffmann, 85, of Danbury and Lake Placid, NY, mother of Kathleen Stillson of Danbury, Donald Hoffmann of Lake Placid, NY and the late Michael Hoffmann, died at her Danbury on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

Mrs. Hoffmann was the wife of the late Ulrich V. Hoffmann.

Born in Kansas City, Missouri, November 5, 1932, Mrs. Hoffmann was a daughter of the late William and Genevieve (Hayde) Boyle. She was a homemaker and attended St. Joseph Church of Danbury.

In addition to her daughter and son, she is survived by three granddaughters and a great granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Danbury.

Interment will take place in Westport, NY. There will be no calling hours.Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
