Obituary: Christopher S. Presnell, Of Danbury
Chris worked for Solomon Community, was a member of the VFW Post 149 Auxiliary and a coach for Danbury youth soccer.

DANBURY, CT — Christopher S. Presnell passed away Saturday, Mar. 18, 2023, due to a brain aneurysm.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Elvira (Elly) Presnell; his maternal grandparents, Amanual and Lydia Fernandez; his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Ruby Presnell; and his best friend of 20 years, Roma Malik.

Chris is survived by his father, Tommy Presnell. His sister and her husband, Jennifer and William Pettit; and two nieces and nephew, Kaitlyn and Darren Smith and Ashley Pettit.
Chris graduated from Danbury high school in 1994 where he played on the soccer team. He graduated with a degree in communication from the St. Thomas Aquinas college, where he was also a member of the soccer team.

Chris worked for Solomon Community, was a member of the VFW Post 149 Auxiliary and a coach for Danbury youth soccer. He was very passionate about coaching and seeing the kids' skills grow. He loved soccer and UCONN men’s basketball.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Mar. 25, 2023 at St. Peter Church, Danbury, with the Rev. Gregg Mecca, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be private.
Directly following the mass, a reception will be held at the VFW Post 149, 5 Byron St., Danbury.
Friends will be received from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 24, 2023 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Chris' name may be made to the VFW Post 149 Scholarship Fund, 5 Byron St., Danbury, CT 06810.
