DANBURY, CT — Delfina Ledesma Delgado, 96, of Danbury, beloved wife of the late Dagoberto Delgado, died peacefully in her home at in Danbury. She was born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba on Sept. 27, 1927, daughter of the late Felix Ledesma and Dominica Valdes. She made her home in the United States in 1968.
Delfina was the loving caregiver to not only her three daughters but her mother, sisters, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She loved to sing, play dominoes, watch telenovelas, shoe shop, and cook her family’s favorite meals.

She is survived and will be greatly missed by her three daughters, Beatriz Sabia and her husband Patrick; Ada Delgado; and Belinda Bustelo and her husband, Jose; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren Kelsey and Emily Bustelo; Adrienne and Kirsten Summa; Margaret Sabia, Beatrice and Rob Kalajian; and their 4 children, Aiden, Delfina, Greyson, and Ari; Patrick and Ashley Sabia; and their 2 children Lucas and Knox.
Family and friends will gather at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday, Jan. 11 from 10 a.m. to noon. Following the visitation, a funeral service will begin at noon with burial to follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
