Obituary: Diane L. Azzollini, 72, Of Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Diane L. Azzollini, 72, of Danbury (formerly of New Fairfield), passed away peacefully at home in Danbury, Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023.

Diane was born in Mount Vernon, NY, daughter of Louis and Mary Pantuso. She attended Mt. Vernon High School, and earned her BS in business management from SUNY Empire State College. She retired from the telephone company after 30 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Azzollini and her fiancé, Francisco Pagan; her son, Corrado Azzollini and his wife, Helena; and granddaughter, Scarlett; as well her sisters: Mary DeBiase and family and JoAnn Manfredonia and family.

We say ciao for now to the most courageous woman who will always be remembered for her significant role that she played in our family and friends' lives. Her laughter and fun-loving spirit was contagious. She cherished every moment with her loved ones, especially the moments with her granddaughter. She was so loved by so many and will be deeply missed.

A Mass of Christian Memorial Service will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday, Sept. 23,
2023 at St. Joseph Church, Danbury.
