Obituary: Dorothy C. (Heller) Anilosky, 94, Of Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Dorothy C. (Heller) Anilosky, age 94, of Danbury passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023 at Village Crest in New Milford. She was the widow of William Charles Anilosky.

Mrs. Anilosky was born August 17, 1929 in Pottsville, PA, daughter of the late Louis and Augusta (Hock) Heller. She was a graduate of Lansford, PA, High School and the Maryland Art Institute in Baltimore, MD. She was active in Girl Scouts and PTA for many years, was a member of the Library, Newcomers Club and the Danbury Senior Center and enjoyed crafts, playing bridge and sewing.

Mrs. Anilosky is survived by her children James C. Anilosky and his wife Linda of Danbury and Christine Balzarini and her husband Dean of Danbury; her grandchildren Justin Balzarini of Danbury, William Young of Lakeside, CA and Christina Young of Lakeside, CA; her step grandchildren Stacy Rogers of Danbury and Christina Santopietro of Woodbury; her great-grandson Nicholas Balzarini; her step great-grandchildren Bella Rogers of Danbury, Trevor Santopietro of Woodbury and Zachary Santopietro; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Dorothy Young, her son-in-law Jeffery Young, her sister Ruth Lauer, her brother-in-law Richard Lauer, her grandson Tristin Balzarini and her step great-grandson Mathew Rogers.

Private funeral services and burial in Wooster Cemetery in Danbury will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
