Obituary: Edward Rodriguez, 70, Of Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Mr. Edward Rodriguez, age 70, of Danbury passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Luciene Pereira Reis.

Mr. Rodriguez was born May 27,1952 in Bogota, Colombia son of the late Pedro and Rosa (Velandia) Rodriguez. He was the owner of E.R. Renovations Company. He enjoyed going to church, watching sports, restaurants, the beach and playing Parcheesi.

In addition to his wife Luciene, Mr. Rodriguezi is survived by his children: Carlos Rodriguez and his wife Emily, Claudia Rodriguez, and Monique Rodriguez-Torres and her husband Danny, all of California, his siblings: Pedro Rodriguez and his wife Flor Maria of Bogota, Colombia, Gilma Linarez of Villeta, Colombia, Maria Clemencia Fernandez and her husband Hernando of Fresh Meadows, New York and Antonio Rodriguez and his wife Diana of Austin, Texas, his grandchildren: Christian, Mia, Hezekiah, Jacob, Areana, Jalena, Jionni De Guzman, and Chipora Torres and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass followed by a Celebration of life at a later date in September will be announced in a few days.
