Obituary: Elizabeth (Betty) Dargo Radachowsky, 88, of Danbury
Betty was an incredible cook whose stuffed cabbage and rhubarb cake will never be duplicated.

DANBURY, CT -- Elizabeth (Betty) Dargo Radachowsky, 88, of Danbury passed away after a brief illness on May 22, 2018. She was the loving wife of Mr. John Radachowsky Jr.
Betty was born on May 26, 1929 in Elyria, Ohio; a daughter of Stephan and Elizabeth (Sipos) Dargo.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Radachowsky Jr. of 71 years. They made a home for their children in Danbury.

Betty was known to be a prolific writer who submitted many letters to the Danbury News Times. She was an incredible cook whose stuffed cabbage and rhubarb cake will never be duplicated. Betty was fiercely independent and intuitive. She played a competitive and determined game of cribbage weekly with her husband and many of her children.
Over the years, she worked in many healthcare facilities and retired from Heritage Heights.

She is survived by her husband, John Radachowsky Jr., her children; John E. Radachowsky (Terrie), Richard (Ruth), David, Bruce, Janina Radachowsky and her 10 grandchildren along with 5 great-grandchildren, her sister Margaret Saegert of Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private; there will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Regional Hospice and Homecare of Danbury, CT.
