Obituary: George K. Pack, 66, of Danbury

He was an avid gardener, enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Trinity Christian Tabernacle Church of Danbury.

DANBURY, CT -- George K. Pack, 66, of Danbury, husband of Nezrine (Taylor) Pack, died on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Danbury Hospital.Mr.

Pack was born in Polk City, Florida, a son of the late George and Bernice (Manning) Pack. He attended schools in Florida and upon relocating to Danbury attended Danbury schools. He was a graduate of Danbury High School with the Class of 1971.

A resident of Danbury for the past fifty five years coming from Florida, Mr. Pack was employed with the former FXR- American Radionics and retired from the Barden Corporation.

He was an avid gardener, enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Trinity Christian Tabernacle Church of Danbury.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Pack is survived by three daughters, Yolanda Pack of Chesapeake, VA, Andrea Pack of Naugatuck and Amy Tinney and her husband Dennis of Derby; two sons, George K. Pack Jr. and his wife Danielle of Middletown and Phillip M. Pack and his wife Valerie of Ruskin, FL; a brother Clevon Pack of Danbury, thirteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Pack was predeceased by a sister Mary Burke.

Home Going Services will take place on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Trinity Christian Tabernacle Church, 91 Elm St., Danbury .Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury.

The family will receive friends in the Trinity Christian Tabernacle Church on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
