Obituary: Jane C. Lynch, 98, Of Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Jane C. Lynch passed away in Danbury, at the age of 98. Jane was born in Danbury to the late Peter and Nora (Nash) Hossan. She was married to George F. Lynch on Nov. 24, 1951.

Jane attended St. Peter School and then Danbury High School and graduated the class of 1942. She then attended Crandall Secretarial School and used her education to work in accounting and was an office manager for several companies including Frank H. Lee, Barden Corp., CT Research, Fairview Condo, Tom Collins Appraisers. Jane then retired in 1986.

She was a member of RSVP and its Advisory Board, a former member of the PAL Activity Board of Directors and a former member of St. Gregory’s Ladies Guild.

Jane enjoyed “get togethers” with family and friends, needle work crafts and word search and jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Beth Campion of Springfield, MA and four grandchildren. Along with her parents Jane was predeceased by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 3 from 1-3 pm at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on May 4 at 9:30am at St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury, and interment will immediately follow at St. Peter Cemetery in Danbury.
