Obituary: John E. Albini, 82, of Danbury

John worked for many years for the City of Danbury in the Parks Department. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed learning about all models.

DANBURY, CT -- John E. Albini, 82, of Danbury, beloved husband of the late Joan (Schimanski) Albini, died peacefully at New Milford Hospital, on Friday, August 10, 2018. He was born in Astoria, Queens, NY on November 22, 1935, son of the late John and Amalia (Acerbo) Albini.

John worked for many years for the City of Danbury in the Parks Department. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed learning about all models, new and old. In his later years he looked forward to his daily trips to Three Brothers Diner in Danbury.

A devoted father, he will be sadly missed by his daughter, Lori Kinsella McNamara and her husband, Stephen; his son, John Albini and his wife, Sandra; his two cherished granddaughters, Ashley and Abigail Kinsella. He was predeceased by his sisters, Wanda Emond and Linda Smart.

Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Wednesday, August 15th at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
