Obituary: Judith F. Allen, 80, Of Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Judith F. Allen passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 80 on August 1, 2023. She was born in Danbury, the eldest daughter of Anne and Leo Allen.

Judy attended local schools, graduated from Danbury High School and received her BA from Western Connecticut State University.

Judy suffered from mental and physical illness throughout her adult life and received compassionate support from her close family, friends, caretakers and professionals. She was still able to be a productive member of society and live independently. She worked for many years as a secretary and a clerk at multiple local stores. She enjoyed meeting her many friends at local gathering places.

She is survived by her sister Sarah Liberman (Marty), her brother David Allen (Mardi) and many nieces and nephews.
