DANBURY, CT — Madeline "Sis" Wochek, 91, of Danbury, died on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut.
Sis was born in Danbury, on January 14, 1931, a daughter to the late George Woods and Madeline (Burke) Wochek.

A lifelong Danbury resident, Sis was a 1944 graduate of Sacred Heart of Jesus School and a 1948 graduate of Danbury High School. Madeline loved photography, gardening, wood crafting, bowling, and softball.
She was a retired security receiver with SGC Pathmark Shopping Store of Danbury and a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Danbury.

She is survived by a brother, Joseph M. Wochek of Bethel, and by several cousins.
In addition to her parents. Sis was predeceased by two sisters, Josephine G. Wochek and Mildred T. Wochek.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 Granville Ave., Danbury with Father Norman Guilbert of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Danbury officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
Friends will be received in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home on Wednesday morning after 9:30 a.m.
