Obituary: Mey Chang, 61, Of Danbury
Mey loved her family dearly. Her daughter and her grandson were the light of her life.

DANBURY, CT — Mey Chang, 61, of Danbury passed away on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022.
Mey was born in Cambodia on April 16, 1961 to Chen Chang and Lay Phen. She then migrated to the United States in 1980 and resided in Holly, Michigan. She moved to Danbury in 1981, where she has lived for the past 43 years.

Her first job was an assembler at Amphenol. She would end up working at a few different companies through her life, but in 2010 she became her mother’s full-time caretaker, which led her to find a career that she loved and was passionate about. She found joy in being able to care for others.
Mey is survived by her daughter, Jenny; her grandson, Jaxon; her sister, Sim Lam (husband Menn, sons Samedy and Johnny); her brother Chian Chang (wife Eng, children Shaun, Samantha, and Sabrina) and a great niece and nephew, Callie and Asher.

Mey loved her family dearly. Her daughter and her grandson were the light of her life. Her love for them was unconditional. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, colleague and friend. She touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never ever be forgotten.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00pm on Tuesday, Dec, 20, 2022 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. -11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022 at the Green Funeral Home.
