Obituary: Patricia A. Horton, 78, Of Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Patricia A. Horton, 78, of Danbury, wife of Forrest N. Horton, died on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at her home.
Mrs. Horton was born in Port Jervis, NY, on Aug. 11, 1943, a daughter of the late Lee and Frances (Adams) Gannon.

A resident of the area for the past sixty years coming from Port Jervis, she resided first in Sandy Hook, later Bethel, and lastly Danbury.
Pat enjoyed the outdoors and looked forward to camping and motorcycle riding. She enjoyed most especially the time spent with her family and friends. She will be sorely missed.

In addition to her husband of twenty-six years, Mrs. Horton is survived by a daughter, Debbie Lemke-Valluzzo, two sons, David Lemke (LeAnn) and Brian Lemke (Suzie), 2 stepsons, James Horton (Kelly) and Christopher Horton (Cynthia), two brothers John Gannon and Ralph Gannon, nine grandchildren, Brandi Lemke, Carl Lemke Jr., Kelly and Erin Lemke, Stephanie Landwehr, Brianna Valluzzo, Nicholas Valluzzo III, Skylar Horton, and Shawn Horton and 6 great-grandchildren, Wesley, Carter, Dante, Ayden, Cameron, and Charlie.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Horton was predeceased by two sons, Carl Lemke and Stephen Lemke, two brothers, Lee Gannon and Robert Gannon, and by a sister, Mary Miller.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 12 noon, in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 Granville Ave., Danbury with Rev. Dr. Bob Payne, Pastor of the Baptist Church of Danbury officiating. The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home on Saturday after 10 a.m.
Contributions may be made to one’s own favorite charity in memory of Pat.
