Obituary: Patricia 'Patti' Montesano Cappelletti, 76, Of Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Patricia “Patti” Montesano Cappelletti, 76 of Old Ridgebury Rd., Danbury, passed away peacefully on Jan. 29, 2023 after a long battle with cancer on her 76th birthday surrounded by her family.

She was the mother of Vincent Cappelletti, grandmother of Isabella and Lucas, sister of Elizabeth Madaus and Dominick Montesano. Patricia was born in Bronx, NY on January 29, 1947, daughter of Mary and Pat Montesano.

She graduated from Commerce High School in Bronx, NY and attended cosmetology school afterwards. She lived in Westchester County before ultimately moving to Danbury, where she lived with her loving sister and best friend Liz and her partner Sal.

Patricia was a hard working woman, working day and night to support her family. She worked for Susan Marlowe Figure Salon and was a manager for AT&T before finishing her career working for Northern Westchester Internal Medicine where she was in charge of medical records, audits and was a doctor's assistant for Dr. Richard Klein in Yorktown, NY.

Most importantly, Patricia touched everyone she met and was always thinking of family and friends, making sure she was an advocate for keeping everyone together. She was the greatest mother, grandma, aunt, sister and friend that anyone could have asked for. She always figured out how to make it work with what she had. She was the most giving person who never wanted for anything except for keeping everyone together. Her smile and sense of humor was infectious, which she managed to maintain despite her illness.

Friends will be received at Green Funeral Home from 11am-1pm on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023 with a Memorial Service at 1 p.m.
