Obituary: Peter M. Cronin, 71, Of Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Mr. Peter M. Cronin, age 71, of Danbury passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Danbury Hospital. He was the life partner of Patricia Flynn.

Mr. Cronin was born Sept. 26, 1951, in Bronx, New York, son of the late Peter J. and Dolores F. (Golvin) Cronin. He was retired after working for many years as a telephone lineman with Verizon, and enjoyed playing the guitar and fishing.

In addition to his life partner Patricia, Mr. Cronin is survived by his son: Brian J. Cronin of Brewster, New York and Herbert Flynn and his wife Dody of Sandy Hook, and his grandchildren: Kira Rock and her husband Dan and Logan Flynn. He will be dearly missed by his dog Lucky.

Graveside funeral services and burial will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Danbury, followed by a luncheon across the street at Anthony’s Lake Club, 10 Christopher Columbus Ave. Danbury, CT. There are no calling hours. The Cornell Memorial Home 247 White Street Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
