DANBURY, CT — Steven J. Palanzo, 34, of Danbury, died on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at the Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven. He was the loving son of Michael and Martha (Samaha) Palanzo.
Steven was born in Danbury on April 29, 1984. A lifelong Danbury resident, Steven graduated from Danbury High School in 2002. He owned and operated his own window tinting and detailing business. Steven served customers in both automotive and residential areas.

Steven enjoyed movies and working on cars. His smile would light up a room; he was friendly and outgoing and was known for his contagious laugh.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Martha Palanzo; his brother, Greg Palanzo and Greg's girlfriend Aline Ribeiro; his girlfriend Fernanda Ouellette; his paternal grandmother Evelyn Palanzo and his aunt Marilyn (Clifford) Pomeroy. He also leaves many cousins including his very close cousin Alice; along with many lifelong friends. Steven was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Joseph and Esther Samaha and his paternal grandfather, Michael Palanzo.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 5, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church; 17 Granville Avenue, Danbury. Interment will be private. Friends will be received on Saturday morning at St. Anthony Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Steven's name can be made to the American Red Cross. Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, Danbury is in care of funeral arrangements.
