Obituary: Vincent James Tangredi Jr., 81, of Danbury

Mr. Tangredi worked for Dayton Rogers Corporation for 30 years and retired in 2001.

DANBURY, CT — Vincent James Tangredi Jr., 81, passed away peacefully at his home in Danbury on August 18, 2018.

Vincent was born in Danbury on May 18, 1937. He was the son of Ercelia Rapolla and Vincent J Tangredi Sr. He is predeceased by one sister, Antoinette, and three brothers, Frank, Anthony, and Joseph.

Mr. Tangredi worked for Dayton Rogers Corporation for 30 years and retired in 2001.

Vincent loved music, dancing, and travel. His passion was antique autos and he restored a 1930 model A Ford coup that he proudly showed off at car shows and parades.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Loretta, and three children Theresa of Williamsburg, Massachusetts, Vincent and David both of Austin, Texas, several nieces and nephews, and his loyal furry companions Tiger and Maggie. Vincent loved to make others laugh with his unique sense of humor. He will be missed by all.

Vincent requested to be cremated. Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude's Hospital, , or St. Gregory the Great Church in Vincent's name.
