Obituary: Yvette (Kraut) Pruman, 92, Of Danbury
A longtime Danbury resident, Mrs. Pruman was a member of the United Jewish Center.

DANBURY, CT — Yvette (Kraut) Pruman, 92, loving wife of the late Samuel Pruman, died on Friday, December 30, 2022.
Mrs. Pruman was born in Bridgeport on April 21, 1930; a daughter of the late Louis and Esther (Kaplan) Kraut. A longtime Danbury resident, Mrs. Pruman was a member of the United Jewish Center. She was married to her husband, Samuel for 60 years before his passing in 2008.

Mrs. Pruman is survived by her daughter, Marlene Mitchell as well as her granddaughter, Elizabeth Reagan and her husband, Michael and two great-grandchildren, Simon and Evangeline. She is also survived by a sister, Minnie Jacobson and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Esther and Louis, and her husband, Samuel, Mrs. Pruman was predeceased by a son in law, Dr. Paul Mitchell and a sister, Marsha Jacobs.
Graveside funeral services officiated by Cantor Penny Kessler will take place on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Jewish Center Cemetery; 16 Miry Brook Road, Danbury.
