Pedestrian Seriously Injured When Struck by Car in Danbury: PD
The accident is under investigation by the Danbury Police Department's Traffic Division.
DANBURY, CT — A pedestrian was hospitalized for a serious injury after being struck by a car in the area of 28 Federal Road Saturday, the police are reporting.
Danbury officers responded to the scene shortly after receiving a call at around 9 o'clock Saturday night.
A preliminary investigation shows that a 2016 Hyundai Sonata was traveling southbound on Federal Road and struck a pedestrian in the roadway, according to Danbury PD Detective Lt. Mark Williams. The victim was taken to Danbury Hospital's Emergency Department.
