Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Danbury

DANBURY, CT — A pedestrian was struck by an oncoming vehicle along Federal Road Friday night.

Dona Kramer, 71, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was struck by a Chevy Silverado driven by Angel Cuenca, 50, driving northbound in the area of 59 Federal Road, near Frank Pepe’s Pizza. When police arrived on the scene at around 8:00 p.m., they found Kramer suffering from serious injuries. She was taken to Danbury Hospital where she succumbed to those injuries.

The accident is under investigation by the Danbury police, who request that anyone who may have witnessed the crash contact Sgt. Rory DeRocco at (203) 797-2157.
