Pembroke Teacher's Aide Accused Of Bomb Threats: Report
Amber Davidson, 36, of New Milford, was arrested on charges relating to the threats and breach of peace Oct. 12, the CTPost reported.

DANBURY, CT — A teacher's aide at Pembroke Elementary School is facing multiple felonies and other charges in connection with four handwritten bomb threats made at the Danbury school, the CTPost reported Monday.
Amber Davidson, 36, of New Milford, was arrested on charges relating to the threats and breach of peace Oct. 12, according to a Danbury Police Department arrest log obtained by Patch.
In each of the instances, which occurred between November 2022 and February 2023, "police responded, cleared the building and classes resumed after the threats were deemed not credible by officers and school staff," the CTPost reported, citing the warrant.

Davidson was placed on administrative leave in September after the FBI found her fingerprints on two of the notes, the warrant apparently said.
When the first threats were made, police and school officials believed that the notes had been written by a student due to the "childlike handwriting," according to the outlet. However, after the fourth note was found, a school administrator apparently suspected Davidson because she was seen in surveillance footage "acting strange" while going in and out of the bathroom where the note was found.

In February, the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit analyzed all four notes and said they believed they were written by an adult who was switching between writing styles to try to hide their identity, the warrant said.
Based on these findings, Davidson was arrested on four counts of second-degree threatening and four counts of second-degree breach of peace on Oct. 12, the CTPost reported, citing the warrant.
She was released after posting a $30,000 bond, and is scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 9, at the state Superior Court in Danbury, the outlet reported.
