The incident ended poorly for the man, and the prostitute.

DANBURY, CT — A disagreement between a prostitute and her client resulted in police giving chase to a man they believed was armed with a gun, the News Times is reporting.

Officers pursued Edwin Ramirez on foot through the neighborhood around Franklin Street recently when a woman reported he had robbed her at gunpoint. Ramirez did not have a gun in his possession when police apprehended him.

The woman, Karen Santoro, was later identified as a prostitute. Police say that Santoro offered to have sex with Ramirez for an undisclosed amount of money. When Ramirez "reneged on the agreement," according to police, Santoro called police and made the robbery allegation.
