Police ID Pedestrian Killed in Weekend Crash
He was crossing White Street on foot near the intersection with Ives Street when he was struck by a car early Sunday morning.
DANBURY, CT — Police have identified the man who was killed after being struck by a car on White Street over the weekend, the News Times is reporting.
Jose Yupangui, 43, of Danbury, was crossing White Street on foot near the intersection with Ives Street when he was struck by a car being driven by Jhon Penaherrera, 18. The accident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. on Sunday.
Yupangui was taken to Danbury Hospital where he succumbed to injuries Sunday afternoon.
