Police Investigating Stabbing Attack On 57-Year-Old Danbury Man

Evidence indicates that the 57-year-old victim and his assailants knew each other, according to police.

DANBURY, CT — Police are currently investigating the stabbing of a 57-year-old Danbury resident who was treated for multiple stab wounds at Danbury Hospital.

The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the Mill Ridge Plaza, at the corner of Mill Ridge Road and Lake Ave Ext.

"What led up to the stabbing is unclear at this time, but all involved parties have been identified," according to Det. Capt. Mark Williams, who added, "the attack was not random."
