Police Rescue 91-Year-Old ​Danbury Woman After Crash

DANBURY, CT — Police rescued a 91-year-old Danbury woman from the bottom of an embankment Sunday.

Officers from the New Fairfield PD heard the woman calling for help shortly before 2:50 p.m. while investigating a crash off Route 39. Police found the woman next to a 2009 Pontiac G6 about 25 feet down the embankment.

Police say the woman was evaluated in an ambulance. The accident remains under investigation.
