Police Seek Public's Help to ID Hit And Run Driver

DANBURY, CT — A man riding a dirt bike struck a motor vehicle, then fled the scene.

Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the man on a dirt bike who struck a motor vehicle on Main Street near St. Peter's Church in Danbury at approximately 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23. After the collision, the man picked up the dirt bike and fled onto Center Street. A witness was able to take the picture , above, of the dirt bike and driver as he left the scene.

Police are requesting that anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has information regarding the driver of the dirt bike contact Officer Howley at 203-797-4611 ext. 621.
