Danbury Gas Leak a 'False Alarm:' UPDATE

DANBURY, CT — The reported gas leak that prompted the evacuation of a building in the city today was a false alarm, the News-Times is reporting.

Emergency crews from the fire department and Eversource were called on-site inside the Maron Hotel & Suites on Lake Avenue Extension, where the odor of gas was reported.

A shift commander told the News-Times that "It was really a non-issue" after crews completed their search of the building.
