Praxair to Invest $33 Million in Former GE Building: Report

The company bought the building located in Danbury earlier this month.

Praxair is looking to make as much as $33 million in upgrades to the former GE Capital Building, the News Times reports.

The company bought the building located in the Berkshire Corporate Park for $20 million.

According to the News Times, the company had cancelled plans to build their new headquarters in the city but is looking to get a seven year tax abatement on the improvements. Plans for the improvements have not yet been submitted to city officials.
