Praxair Withdraws Plans for World Headquarters in Danbury
The project reportedly became too expensive for the company.
Danbury-based Praxair, has withdrawn plans to build a $60 million world headquarter in Danbury, the News Times reports.
Sources told the News Times that the project had become too expensive for the company.
The company announced plans for the new headquarters in October 2014.

Department of Economic and Community Development spokesman Jim Watson told the News Times DECD was disappointed to learn of the decision but remain encouraged of the company’s commitment to the state.
