Reception for Newly Elected State Rep. Steve Harding in Brookfield
Harding was elected to the 107th district, which represents Brookfield and parts of Danbury and Bethel.

A ceremonial swearing-in and reception will be held for Steve Harding, the newly elected state representative for the 107th district on March 7 at 4:30 p.m. in the Brookfield Town Hall Foyer.
All constituents of the 107th district are invited to attend.
Brookfield First Selectman Bill Tinsley said the voters of Brookfield, Danbury and Bethel have chosen a great young man to represent their interests and he looks forward to working with Harding.

Harding defeated Democrat Howard Lasser in the special election held Feb. 24.
The seat was recently vacated by long time state representative David Scribner, who retired to become Commissioner, Connecticut State Department of Consumer Protection.
