Is Red Lobster Seafood Fake or Fresh: Report
Have you ever thought about what you're actually eating when dining at Red Lobster in Danbury? An Inside Edition report investigates.
Restaurant Business Online reported today an “Inside Edition” TV program investigation will feature the national chain on their program Tuesday night amidst allegations of ”misleading the public and violating Food and Drug Administration guidelines by presenting less expensive types of seafood as lobster.”
Investigators hired by the show visited 28 seafood restaurants to collect samples of lobster from restaurants, including Red Lobster.
The samples were analyzed in labs to determine if the seafood was actually lobster. Some restaurants have been accused of using less expensive seafood.
