Reward Offered for Info on Golf Course Vandals

Damage to date has been estimated at $3,000, not including revenue lost while unplayable holes were repaired.

DANBURY, CT — A cash reward is being offered to anyone with information about the vandal responsible for tearing up parts of the Richter Park Golf Course at 100 Aunt Hack Road, The News Times is reporting.

The green surrounding the 13th hole was ripped up by someone apparently driving a golf cart on the night of Sunday, August 5. The damage, requiring four hours to rectify, made the hole unplayable on morning morning.

Officials say the vandal apparently struck again Monday night, causing damage to the fairways leading to the 11th, 12th and 13th holes.
