Ridgefield Music Group Donates $25K To Danbury Hospital

The organization has earmarked the gift to buy personal protection equipment for health care workers battling the coronavirus crisis.

DANBURY, CT — The Ridgefield Music and Arts Center has donated $25,000 to Danbury Hospital.

The non-profit organization has earmarked the gift to buy much-needed personal protection equipment for health care workers on the front lines of the new coronavirus epidemic.

The group has also donated another $5,000 each to Ridgefield Food Pantry, a Jewish New Haven organization for masks to be distributed throughout Connecticut, Family and Child Aid Services of Danbury, Women's Center of Danbury, and Daily Bread. RMAC will also be providing two student scholarships this year to graduating seniors pursuing a future in music or the arts.

Ridgefield Music and Arts Center is a non-profit organization which was founded in 2006 to provide music performance and art exhibition opportunities for students in the community.

Although RMAC stopped hosting events for students last year, they have continued to support the community with remaining funds.
