Santos Campaign Scores Public Financing Grant
Danbury City Councilman Farley Santos has announced his campaign for the 109th District seat is eligible for a public financing grant.

DANBURY, CT — Councilman Farley Santos has announced his campaign for state representative has raised the required donations and dollars to qualify for the public financing grant through Connecticut’s Citizens Election Program.
Santos announced his bid for the 109th District seat on Monday. The position is currently held by state Rep. David Arconti, who last month announced will not be seeking re-election.
The grants are financed by the Citizens’ Election Fund, which receives funds primarily from the proceeds of the sale of abandoned property in the State of Connecticut’s custody, as well as voluntary donations.

"I’m humbled by the overwhelming support that our campaign has received from Danbury residents in these first 4 days of the campaign. Time and again our community has come through for me and as State Representative, I’ll always have their backs too," Santos said.
Santos is "looking forward to knocking on doors in the 109th district to discuss the issues with constituents," according to a news release.
