Scribner Unanimously Endorsed by Independent Party
CBIA Endorses Scribner for 107th District State Rep. which includes Bethel, Brookfield, and Danbury.

Press release:
DANBURY- The Independent Party of Connecticut unanimously threw their support behind State Representative David Scribner in his quest for re-election at their state convention held at the Maron Hotel in Danbury on August 21st.
The Independent Party is the third-largest political party in the state. The endorsement means Scribner will not just appear on the Republican line, but will also appear on the Independent Party line on the ballot on November 4th. Connecticut residents not affiliated with either major party make up the largest percentage of voters in the state and need a voice at the State Capitol.

“During my tenure in the legislature I have strived to be an independent voice for the residents of the 107th district,” said Scribner. “I thank the Independent Party for their faith and enthusiasm for my candidacy. I look forward to continuing to work on behalf of the large segment of district residents who want a responsive and responsible government without regard to partisan politics.”
“We believe David Scribner represents a terrific independent voice in the state legislature seeking an inclusive and responsible state government for all citizens,” said John Dietter, State Chairman of the Connecticut Independent Party. “His distinguished record in the legislature reflects our common goals. We enthusiastically endorse Representative Scribner in his re-election bid, and look forward to his victory in November.”
