State Police Come To Rescue Of Injured Hawk In Danbury

State troopers came to the rescue of an injured hawk in Danbury.

DANBURY, CT — State troopers came to the rescue of an injured hawk in Danbury.

Troopers from Troop A in Southbury responded to a report of an injured bird on Route 7 South, in the area of Exit 11, on Tuesday.

First responders found a hawk which had an injured wing, and was unable to fly. With help from the Connecticut State Environmental Conservation Police, the hawk was safely transported it to a nearby wildlife rehabilitation center for treatment.
