SWAT Team Called In For Man Shooting From Danbury Apartment: Police
A Danbury Police Department SWAT team was called in to the scene of a man shooting from an apartment window Wednesday.
DANBURY, CT — A Danbury Police Department Special Weapons & Tactics team was called in to the scene of a man shooting from an apartment window on Wednesday.
Police were contacted at 9:48 a.m. about the man shooting out a window from unit 506 at 55 Wildman Street, police spokesperson Erin Henry said. Video provided by neighbors showed the man holding a firearm outside the window, and SWAT units were called in to secure the area.
Police evacuated residents from the apartment complex, and closed a section of Wildman Street between Austin and Triangle streets.

Law enforcement was able to make contact with the shooter, Erikson Bueno, 25, who surrendered peacefully, according to Henry.
Bueno was charged with breach of peace and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
