A Thank You from Horizons WCSU

Horizons at WCSU would like to thank our families, friends and community members for supporting summer 2016. With your contributions, our program nearly tripled in size to offer preschool, kindergarten and first grade classes, serving over 40 students. The preschool addition was especially valuable to children transitioning to kindergarten without any prior school experience.

In addition to morning academics, including small group literacy intervention, students enjoyed a variety of afternoon enrichment activities including swimming lessons, field trips and guest presenters. The goal of the Horizons network is to increase by 1 class size each consecutive summer until the program has the capacity to offer PreK-8.
