Trio Jumped, Beat Victim at Party in Danbury: Cops
The incident occurred at a gated housing complex on the Post Road.
DANBURY, CT - A trio of local men jumped and beat another man during a party in Danbury early Wednesday, resulting in the victim requiring treatment at Danbury Hospital, according to police.
Arrested were Danbury residents Steven Beckham, 20, Daivon Ruggiero, 19, and William Orr, also 19, reports the Danbury News-Times. They were charged with:
- Assault 3rd Degree
- Conspiracy to Commit Assault
- Breach of Peace
Police said the incident occurred at about 1 a.m. after Beckham allegedly got into an argument with the victim and knocked him to the ground. Ruggiero and Orr quickly joined in beating, according to police.

All three posted $500 bonds and are scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on June 9.
