Troopers Search for Motorist Who Fled Scene of I-84 Crash
The driver of the car has not been identified, although he left his two passengers at the scene
DANBURY, CT — State police are searching for the motorist who fled the scene of the accident that brought the Thursday morning westbound commute to a crawl on Interstate 84.
The driver of a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer side-swiped a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu LS, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway. The accident occurred just before Exit 4 at about 3:44 a.m., according to state cops.
The driver of the Trailblazer has not been identified, although he left his two passengers, Jesus Rosas, 33, and Jose Rosas, 34, both of Ridgefield, at the scene of the accident. Both men, along with the 41-year-old driver of the Malibu, suffered minor injuries.
