Unofficial Results: Carter Beats Fay Handily in 2nd District
Dan Carter beat Candace Fay for State Rep. in a hotly contested race in the 2nd district which includes Newtown, Redding, Bethel & Danbury.

Dan Carter celebrated his victory Tuesday night with friends and supporters at Portofino’s. “This proves that positive campaigning wins,” he said in his post-election speech.
“This election is the reaffirmation of Dan Carter’s hard work, commitment, and positive contributions to the Town of Bethel and the entire second district,” Will Duff said. Duff is the Chairman of the Bethel Republican Town Committee.
