WCSU Preps for Annual Chuck's Mini-Mudder

Danbury is invited to join this running event that includes mud, ice troughs, military-style obstacles and lots of fun on April 24!

DANBURY, CONN. — The Western Connecticut State University Recreation Office and the Avielle Foundation will host the annual Chuck’s Mini-Mudder on Sunday, April 24.

Registration will begin at 7 a.m. on the day of the event in the lobby of the Westside Athletic Complex (stadium building) until 8 a.m. The first heat will start at 8 a.m. on the Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. Additional heats will start every 15 minutes. The event will not be timed and will be held rain or shine.

The event will begin and end on the turf field of the Athletic Complex and will include 20 physical challenges over the course of two miles, many of which are covered in mud. Water stations will be available along the course.

Registration is $20 per person before April 10 and $25 after the April 10 deadline, and free for WCSU students. There are also team discounts. Participants must be 12 years or older. Register in advance here.
