Students, Faculty and Staff Help Out In 'ReStore'

Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) students, faculty and staff recently participated in WCSU’s 4th annual “Western Day of Service” helping out at the Housatonic Habitat for Humanity ReStore located at 51 Austin Street in Danbury. A team of volunteers took on many tasks at the Restore, from moving furniture to general maintenance. WCSU is a long-time supporter of Housatonic Habitat and takes part in a variety of projects each year.
Housatonic Habitat for Humanity focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable homes.
